I recently had the pleasure of capturing Daylyn and Tyler’s breathtaking June wedding at The Hillsboro Club in Hillsboro Beach, FL. This venue is so dang charming! With the epic Hillsboro lighthouse in the background and a ceremony right on the ocean, it was a photographer’s dream. The venue exudes timeless elegance and genuine Florida charm. Despite its age, the Hillsboro Club’s maintained beauty and spectacular views created a perfect backdrop for stunning photos.

What made this wedding at The Hillsboro Club even more special for me was how I got the gig. It came as a referral from a past client, which is always the highest compliment I can receive. Plus, fun fact: the bride’s mom used to be my substitute teacher in middle school! Knowing the bride’s family personally added an extra layer of excitement to the whole experience. Daylyn and Tyler’s love shined throughout the day, it emulated through my camera lens. From the intimate “first look”, to the portrait session by the lighthouse, to the ceremony on the waterfront, every moment told a story of their sweet connection!

Tackling the Wind-

Although this wedding day was beautiful and so much fun to shoot, it came with its challenges. The day was super windy, presenting some unique challenges. Wind can be tricky, but it adds a dynamic element to photos that can’t be replicated. We embraced the movement, making sure to capture wind-swept hair and flowing dresses that gave a magical, cinematic touch. We even utilized the wind to capture those must-have veil shots, and man did that wind blow the veil!

Shooting Daylyn and Tyler’s June wedding at The Hillsboro Club was everything I’d hoped for and more! It reminded me why I love what I do – capturing beautiful moments, turning challenges into opportunities, and creating lasting memories. This day truly felt like a page out of a fairytale!
