Nicole and Elliot’s June wedding day at The Pelican Club in Jupiter, FL felt magical, even with the unpredictability of a full-blown tropical storm! As their wedding photographer, I had to be on my A game to take on the unexpected rain and wind challenges. We dashed between indoor and outdoor spaces to catch brief breaks in the rain. Despite the wet weather, their spirits remained high, and it turned into a dynamic and unforgettable day.

The Pelican Club

The Pelican Club is one of my favorite local wedding venues, rain or shine. This venue, with its breathtaking views of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and shimmering waters, perfectly balances elegance and and the beachy Florida vibe. Its chic indoor spaces, with high ceilings, large windows, and tasteful décor, offered ample sheltered spots that were as stunning as any outdoor setting. The versatility of the venue ensured that the beauty of Nicole and Elliot’s celebration was captured, regardless of the weather. This wedding also carried a personal touch. Nicole was referred by one of her bridesmaids, whose engagement photos I’d previously captured!

Despite the storm, we didn’t miss a beat in capturing the heartfelt moments. The Pelican Club’s luxurious bridal suites, filled with natural light, provided the perfect backdrop for bridal prep shots. The overhanging hallways made the first look unforgettable. And the ceremony and reception sparkled under the venue’s ambient ballroom lighting!
