I think one of my favorite parts about photography is getting to connect and reconnect with people I haven’t talked to or seen in years – and this session was no different! Katie and I have known each other for years because we first met playing volleyball and we have tons of mutual friends, so when she reached out to me for photos, I was so excited! Oh, and did I mention, she also has the cutest little pup, Kylo, that she wanted to incorporate in the photos?!….DOUBLE EXCITED!!

Not only was it great to see an old face, but it was also so much fun getting to meet her fiancé, Brockton, and seeing their dynamic together in front of the camera! Like most of my couples, they were initially a little nervous to get in front of the camera, but I swear, 10 minutes into the session, I was already so impressed with how natural they were!! They absolutely killed it! This was also a fun one because my best friend, Nina (shoutout), who was also one of Katie’s old teammates, came along to be my assistant/dog watcher for Kylo for the morning.

Oh, and, this was a sunrise session!! Cannot recommend sunrise sessions enough (especially in the summer time), and I think you’ll see why after browsing through these pics! Enjoy!!
