Alexandra found me on Instagram when she was searching for someone to take her engagement photos while she was in town. From our first messages back and forth to one another, I knew we would get along great!! She was so detail-oriented (like me) and wanted to make sure every last detail was perfect! While we were brainstorming location and outfit ideas together, she also let me know that her British fiancé, Paul, didn’t love the idea of taking photos, so I immediately made a mental note to make sure he would have a great time as soon as we got to the shoot!

I started the shoot with some music and getting to know them, and then had them do a few prompts that I instructed them on – and before we all knew it, I could see that both of their walls started to break down and they felt more and more comfortable around me and in front of the camera – even Paul was loving it!

Needless to say, I’m sooo happy with how the photos turned out, and more importantly, so were Paul and Alexandra and I can’t wait to shoot their New York wedding!!
