Im obsessed with beachy vibes and bringing sunshine to your wedding by making YOU GLOW with confidence in front of the camera! (even if taking photos make you nervous)
Starting your wedding venue search can be daunting and down right overwhelming. Determining your overall vision for the day, your guest list, your priorities on wedding day and your budget all play key factors in your venue decision. I’m here to take some of the guess work out of this decision for you and give you my Top 10 Palm Beach Wedding Venues – from a seasoned wedding photographers perspective. This list has something for everyone including the beach front, nautical bride, to the extravagant, chic bride. So let’s dive in in no particular order…
The Boca Raton is most well known for its gorgeous tropical landscaping, sweeping resort architecture, both inside and out, and beautiful views overlooking Lake Boca. This venue is for you if you love a mix of water front portraits, grand architecture and greenery. Truly this venue has it all. Not only is the outside well manicured and perfect for photos, but the inside is just as stunning with its beautifully decorated hallways, grand staircases and bay windows. I love The Boca Raton because it blends timeless wedding elegance and breathtaking, picturesque backdrops for a stunning wedding day.
The Ben in downtown West Palm Beach is a modern hotel with dark wood finishes and beautiful, sleek architecture. If you like clean, minimalist backdrops, this type of venue gives great contrast between soft wedding attire and angular architecture. The main ceremony space gives industrial vibes, while the reception ballroom upstairs offers floor to ceiling windows with a private terrace and views of all of Palm Beach. The views are truly magnificent. Not to mention, the marina is right across the street, which is a great backdrop for sunset portraits.
The Colony Hotel on Palm Beach Island is most well known for its iconic, pink exterior and old Florida, unique interior furnishings and wallpapers. The Colony and all of it’s charm is the quintessential venue for a Palm Beach wedding. This boutique hotel offers one of a kind service and you can’t beat the location which is a short walk away from the beach. Almost every single corner of this hotel offers picturesque backdrops from the garden space where ceremonies are held, to the pool area, beautiful archways and grand exterior of the hotel. The Colony wedding exudes elegance.
The Pelican Club is the ultimate South Florida wedding venue because it was built for that intention – to be a venue. They have thought of it all, from flexible indoor/outdoor spaces that can easily be transformed due to weather, to hardwood floors in the ballroom that go with any design, to white hallways and ceilings that bounce light perfectly and the most attentive catering and event staff. Talk about a photographer’s dream. Oh, and did we mention the stunning waterfront views overlooking the Jupiter Lighthouse. Sunset photos on the dock are chef’s kiss and not to be missed at The Pelican Club!
The Sailfish Club of Florida is a hidden gem of Palm Beach. It is tucked away in the winding roads of Palm Beach and is a members only or sponsored event venue. Every dreamed of getting married with the beautiful Florida intercostal and setting sun as your backdrop? Then yah, you’ve found your spot. This venue is quaint and caters to smaller events, but with some gorgeous scenery that will make any wedding day stand out.
The Ray is unlike any wedding venue and hotel in South Florida. It is not only located in the hustle and bustle of Downtown Delray, but it exudes chic, vibrant, tropical vibes. Your ceremony and cocktail hour can be held amongst the beautiful cityscape of Delray while you sip cocktails and watch the sun set from the roof top. The Cube ballroom is also a stunning reception space with high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows for some beautiful city lights at night. I’ve had the pleasure of capturing many celebrations at The Ray and each one is uniquely different from the last.
Trump National Golf Club Jupiter is different than the other top 10 Palm Beach wedding venues in this article because of its old-world charm. From the grand marble staircase, to the opulent chandeliers hanging in the grand ballroom, this venue is perfect for an extravagant soiree. It is nestled wight on the golf course for the golf loving groom or the bride who wants to be swept off her feet into the most gorgeous sunset she’s ever seen. From the scenery, to the staff, to the food, to the elegance, this venue will not disappoint for a jaw dropping wedding day.
White Trail Club of Jupiter is a whimsical, garden venue right out of a fairytale. Imagine hosting your wedding against the backdrop of a beautiful white, modern barn and European style flower fields in every direction. You get the best of both worlds of a private venue space that makes a grand impression. In my opinion, the best time of year to host a wedding at White Trail Club is in the winter because you can truly enjoy the indoor, outdoor beauty that this space has to offer. I shot a wedding here during a cold front and we had to bring in heaters and it was absolutely magical.
The Flagler Museum exudes history and architectural elegance. Known as Whitehall, it is a National Historic Landmark. What is more exquisite than getting married at a National landmark?! The gardens and landscaping make a lovely backdrop for portraits and wedding ceremonies, while the grand indoor spaces make an unforgettable backdrop for your reception and wedding details.
The Royal Palm Yacht and Country Club is a unique venue tucked away in the quite neighborhood of Royal Palm. I like to refer to the venue as coastal chic because of its sleek white spaces (great for photography) and its tropical landscaping. The venue is also overlooking the intercostal waterways with lots of boat traffic. You can host a wedding celebration and make it your own because of its sleek white, coastal finishes. You do need to be a member or sponsored to host your wedding here.
As you have seen, this all inclusive list of my top 10 favorite Palm Beach wedding venues has something for every bride! Whether you enjoy a tropical, coastal wedding venue with laid back vibes or an extravagant venue boasting with opulence, Palm Beach has it all!
