Sometimes I get lucky and have a session where literally everything runs perfectly smoothly!! OR, even better than I imagined…and this engagement session was definitely one of them!! Alexya and John were the perfect, down to earth, goofy and playful couple. Ya know, the type of people that I LOVE getting in front of my lens!

They took every pose and prompt I gave them and didn’t question any of it….they just ran with it and had fun! They are originally from Florida, but don’t live here any longer, so they were open and happy when I recommended Hugh Taylor Birch State Park as the backdrop for their photos when they told me they wanted greenery!

I was especially happy to get a chance to work with them because they told me their proposal story during our session (which involved alpacas, by the way…) and let me know, although the proposal was magical and perfect, they had no photos of it!! So, after our session together, I am now happy to report that they have tons of beautiful photos together!!!
