If there’s ONE session in all my work that I’m most proud of at the moment, it would be this one.

Julia reached out to me a couple months ago to do a maternity session before her baby girl is welcomed into the world in a couple of weeks. And of course, I said HELL YES! Side note – I’ve felt so beyond honored to be a part of her entire baby journey over the past 9 months from capturing her announcement photos to her gender reveal photos and now her maternity photos and soon-to-be newborn photos. There’s NOTHING that makes my heart sing quite like loyal clients who bring me along to capture the most precious moments of their lives for them!!

So, we started planning and brainstorming ideas for her maternity session a couple months ago. An important aspect of this shoot for her was to not only capture this precious moment in her life, but also the sweet connection that she felt with her little girl, her changing and growing body and her joy of becoming a new mama.

I immediately had tons of ideas and knew that a milk bath would have to be a part of the shoot because I thought it would so perfectly capture everything she was looking for and more, not to mention she is also a friend of mine and it just seemed fitting for her personality!

Naturally, we both started Pinteresting and Googling milk bath inspo and landed on this BEYOND BEAUTIFUL set up, which you will see as you scroll! This in home session was such a perfect environment to capture this special moment in her life and I can’t wait for you to dive into the PERFECTION that was this maternity session! SO DIVE IN ALREADY!!
